Paltrinieri’s entry-level Lambrusco is a delight. Blending Sorbara with nearby Salamino, the ‘Piria’ is a bright and approachable bubbly meant to accompany a sunny afternoon with salami, cheese and Bruschetta.

Located near the city of Modena, the Paltrinieri family has been growing Lambrusco grapes for over 3 generations. Their approach is classified as sustainable, with a tendency towards natural winemaking. Oenolgist Alberto Paltrinieri farms 15 hectar of Lambrusco Sorbara and Salamino, mostly from the Il Christo vineyard. Marrying the pale aromatic style of Salamino and the punch of textured fruit from Sorbara, this Lambrusco is soft and balanced, with a light texture; a perfect entrance to these satisfying wines.
